3 Quick Shaving Tips

Posted by Angela @ farragio on Monday, September 7, 2015 Under: health beauty

  1. Shave after you've showered. The warm water of the shower helps soften stubble so that it will be removed more easily. If you can't shower before shaving, hold a warm wash cloth against the skin for a couple of minutes.

  2. Always use a sharp razor. How often you should replace a blade will depend on how often you shave. If the blade feels like it's tugging on the skin, it's definitely time to change it. Be sure to rinse the blade off with warm water after each use to help prolong the life of the blade.

  3. After shaving, applying a light moisturizer to the skin can help alleviate razor burn. Avoid rubbing the skin too much as this can cause irritation.
