Holiday traditions are special and fun, but if you have to do something different every year that can become a tradition itself. Growing up my family always had the Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving dinner with grandparents, parents, and us kids gathered around the table sharing love and laughter. When I got married my husband and I moved to Alaska for his station of duty and so we had to improvise and gather around the table with newly made friends. And through the years we've found ourselves going to different places, meeting new people, and creating new traditions along the way.

What are your Thanksgiving traditions?
