CUCUMBER CHIP SALAD

Cucumber Chip Salad

When I'm not in the mood to make a traditional garden salad I'll make this instead.
It's quick and easy and still packs a lot of flavor.

Cucumber Chip Salad

Ingredients:
1 cucumber, sliced
Bleu cheese crumbles
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Cracked sea salt (or a very light sprinkling of table salt)
Cracked black pepper (or ground pepper)
Extra virgin olive oil

Directions:
Slice a cucumber into 1/4"-thick slices.
I usually cut enough so there are four or five slices per person.

Arrange on a plate and sprinkler with bleu cheese crumbles, garlic powder, onion powder, cracked sea salt (or a very light sprinkling of table salt), cracked black pepper (or ground pepper), and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

farragio hint:
Sometimes I like to give them a little kick so I'll also lightly sprinkle with ground red pepper.
