NATIONAL HANGOVER DAY

January 1 is National Hangover Day, for obvious reasons. Here are some quick tips for bouncing back from a night full of too much fun.
Don't drink too much. (Sorry! I know this tip sounds annoying, but it still needs to be said.)
Don't drink on an empty stomach.
For every alcoholic drink you consume, try to drink at least 4 oz. of water.
If you do imbibe too much and you're able to tolerate aspirin, take two before going to bed.
The next morning, drink 8 oz. of water upon waking.
Bananas, ginger ale, peppermint tea, toast with unsalted butter are all natural aids that help with an upset stomach.
