This is a fun drink to make on a cold winter evening. There are different recipes for making it but since I tend to be lazy in the kitchen I figured out the easiest way that is still just as delicious.
Hot Peppermint Patty
Ingredients
1 (8 oz.) packet instant hot cocoa mix with marshmallows
8 oz. milk
1 - 2 Tbs. peppermint schnapps
Directions
Heat milk in a microwave-safe mug on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Stir in hot cocoa mix and peppermint schnapps. Enjoy!

Unusually Good Low-Fat Brownies

A friend told me of an unusual way to make low-fat brownies that are actually quite good.
Ingredients:
1 (20 oz.) box brownie mix
1 (15 oz.) can black beans
Directions:
Puree the can of black beans in a blender and add to brownie mix. ONLY use the black beans with the brownie mix; do not add the oil, eggs, and water that the mix calls for. Just use the pureed beans. Bake as instructed.

These are so easy to make and incredibly delicious. I especially like making them in the summer when I don't want to turn the oven on.
No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions:
Combine the sugar, milk, butter and cocoa in a saucepan and bring to a boil, cooking 1 minute.
